That's fantastic.
You never know what goes on in the mind of a person on a boat.
I'd guess the life raft self deployed when the sailboat sank. I mean, can you repack a life raft? Surely he didn't release it.
Then he used it for shelter because it was there.
I'd also guess he had the spinnaker out for shade in the raft.
The boat was removed, so he must be on his way. Or it's probably going to rot in a boat yard.

I didn't have sound so maybe it's a bad question but, did that boat belong to that guy? I had the impression he was living there because the boat was abandoned. Was he protecting the boat and that's why he lived there and not on shore?
