What size loos gage is used on a 26.5? Is it a PT2? and where is a good place to order one? I did a internet search but could not find where they sell them. Thanks, Sonny

You need to know the range of rigging size on your

sailboat. The PT-2 might be the right one, but without knowing the wire sizes you can't be sure. Loos makes two lines of gauges for wire. The model 90 and 91 are commonly used by average owners. The PT-1,2 or 3 are "professional" models and are much easier to use. I just bought a PT-3 from Defender at their warehouse sale for about $153. Normal price is $169. All of the other models are lower priced. I would recommend the PT model that meets your size requirements because the feature of the PT models allows you to attach the gauge to the wire and then read the values while adjusting the tension. The model 90 and 91 require you to pull the gauge to get a reading - this is much harder to accomplish if you are also trying to make adjustments. See the attached link for the Loos page with the tension gauges.
