Hello all You've all been so helpful in the past, here goes again. I have a Beneteau 373 (37ft approx and weighs approx 6,800kg (15,000lb)) My primary anchor consists of all chain (55m by 10mm) which weighs in at over 120kg. On trips I want to carry a secondary anchor but not nearly as heavy if possible. My question is (approximately) what length of chain and what length of warp would be suitable for a secondary anchor? I was considering 12m of 10mm chain with 50m of warp. Would this fit the bill as a backup anchor setup? Thanks Tony

If your primary is lost, then your secondary is your primary and only.
