I am replacing the plexiglass part of the hatch on my H23. What advise is there on what I should use as a glue or sealant when I re-attach the teak frame material to the new plexiglass? Thanks. Bill Leathen

I tend to prefer...

3M 4200. I believe SikaFlex and BoatLife will also work. DO NOT use 3M 5200 or polysulfide sealants. The solvent in 5200 will likely attack the plastic, and polysulfide will degrade it over a period of time.

One word

Silicone. Clear would be the best for your application. Ed Schenck did a break down on these sealants and adhesives in the last week. I believe he would agree with me to use silicone. I'll reinforce Capt. Bob. DO NOT use polysulfide or polyurethane.

Bowmar cast hatch

Best process to remove and replace the lexan in the cast aluminum hatch by Bowmar on my Hunter 37 Cutter?
