What sail do i need?

I have a 79 hunter 25 and lost the sail during a storm,my old sail had the metal slides but if i can get by with just using the bolt rope, what size is my mast? what measurments should i use for the luff, leech and foot and be close enough, its not for racing, and can i use most any sail? i am going to buy a used one for now. do you know anyone with a used sail for sale?..thanks for any help

Get measurement guide from sail maker.

You should be able to get a measurement guide from someone like the Sail Warehouse. They also sell used sails.www.thesailwarehouse.com

The foot of the main is eight feet, the luff is twenty four feet nine and one half inches abd the sail area is one hundred twenty square feet. These are manufacturer's specs. Hope this helps Jim
