What prop did your 466 come with

I just bought a 04 hunter 466, on survey it did not meet speed hull speed at proper rpms. The current prop is a 12-13 rh3, the prop that came off the boat when new was a 18-13 rh3. The manual says it should have a 18-17 rh3.
i am confused, can anyone help please

Congratulations on your new 466 and welcome to the forum!! My 2005 Hunter 46 has a 4JH3-TE 76 hp engine and I installed a 18" x 17" RH 3 blade 1.25" bore bronze MP style and coated it with prop seed primer and clear coat. Below if from my manual:

I should have mentioned that it came with a corroded 3 blade propeller, which seller paid for. The fixed 3 blade propeller delivers hull speed (8.44 knots), excellent reverse and maneuverability and no adverse effect on sailing or noticeable prop walk.

Our 1999 450 Passage came with a 3-bladed 18 x 17” on a 1 1/4” shaft. Michigan Wheel. Gets to hull speed just fine. Does have port biased prop walk and we have learned how to use it to our advantage. Strong in reverse and more steering finesse as pivot point closer to rudder. Enjoy your vessel.
