Yep, put the USCG up on Youtube. Maybe they will get the message and start policing it better too boot.
Breaking the rules under the pretense of an emergency? I would love to see Police or EMS helicopters try that around an airport. Rules are rules for reasons. Causing property damage and injuries responding to property damage or injury, thats pretty retarded. Otherwise remark the no wake buoys "except authorized personnel".

"NO WAKE ZONE". Same as the "YIELD", and the "MERGE" signs on your local roads and highways. They took the words out of the state handbook for learners. And the rest: Screw it. I got my license now, I do what I want to do. Therefore no one knows what they mean. Around here, going to the river means stop at the nearest liquor store and buy enough beer and boose so everyone gets sloushed. "What Do You Mean, NO WAKE"? What the hell ya talkin bout????? If you don't think the NO WAKE sign is important, next time you are trying to mix your favorite afternoon cocktail, or lunch and some guy with more boat and money than common sense blows by you and knocks you down in your galley and knives, forks, and lunch, as well as your Captain Morgan" cocktail goes flying all over your boat. You may feel like opening a Case of Whop Ass on someone. You just can't never catch them though, can you?
