The fuel tank breather vent hose on my H28.5 is pretty tired and the outer skin is cracked and pealing in the hard turns. I checked the hose label - its 5/8th and what surprised me was that it was the black labelled "water hose". I would have thought that it would need to be fuel hose cause it connects to a nipple on the top of the diesel tank.
or is it that it doesn't need to be fuel hose. I would think diesel fumes would still be caustic-ish direct on rubber. Can anyone say if this was a construction oversight in assembly by Hunter. The fuel vs water hose cost differential is double and I'd need 10 ft. to mimic the existing loops/dips in the line.
