I keep posting questions and look for answers the next day but I can't find them. What am I doing wrong. Of course this isn't going to help is I can't find this tomorrow.

In the top left corner of the pane how many "days to view" do you have selected? That is, on the "forums" page.
If you only check once a day...
Your post has almost certainly been forced to migrate to page 2...3...4...or more of most recent posts. 'Cuz this time of year the traffic begins to have a lot in common with rush hour on any metro freeway system.

You're not sending enough beer to the moderators...... 
If you're looking at New Posts under the Forums tab across the top or Show all Posts All forums, the default is set to 1 day for the threads. Any thread from the prvious day will not show, unless you set the "No. of days to view" in the upper left corner to more than 1.....
