While winterizing my H260, I removed all the ropes that were stored in the port locker in the cockpit (under the seat). Inside I found this plastic tube, which is empty inside and some clips. Can someone tell me what these are for, they look factory to me. (Ignore the rope and sponge in the second pic).

Thanks,

Tube looks like it went over rigging turnbuckles and clips are for holding a broom or brush handle

Can't tell you about the plastic tube, but the clips are to hold your emergency tiller if you have wheel steering. It should be a metal tube with two rings at one end and enlarged at the other end with a groove and hole in it to mount on the top of the rudder stock.

It looks to me like it is a base for a man over board pole. Forespar sold such a device. But, if your boat doesn't have a MOB pole, then someone may have used this as an extension for the tiller handle on a dinghy outboard. I purchased a PVC tube to slip over the tapered tiller handle on my dinghy outboard so I could sit further forward in the dinghy so it would plane off quicker.

Hard to get a feel for the size .. A manual bilge pump handle? a fish billy club? Seat hatch prop to keep it open? Looks like about 1" PVC with a pipe cap on one end and the other end open.. ?? I dunno

Trailer roller

Looks a little like the trailer rollers that go on the goal posts.
