Perhaps the post I put in the Hunter Racing Forum on 3/5/02 should have been put here instead? Please see my post entitled '38 foot "I"'. I would appreciate any/all feedback on this issue. The link I've attached will probably get you there directly... Rodger "Attitude Adjustment" Dana Point, CA

Good there's a baseline!

Thanks Tom, it does confirm the baseline, as my boat as the very same specs. I'm wondering if there is an owner of a 1993 or (even better) a 1994 V32 is out there? Are the last boats built the same spec too? Perhaps those 38 foot Is I've heard about are done doing outfitting by dealers (as an "after market" sort of thing?) Rodger Beard a loving V32 owner

Measure twice....

I would NEVER rely on any published specs if I were buying equipment that depended on them. The mast on our 77h27 was two feet shorter than any of the many variations of published specs I was able to find for that boat. Better to invest in a 50' tape measure and measure it yourself. It's very simple to do.

I completely agree about published specs!

Yeah Doug, I read you loud and clear! I should have been clearer. I didn't really WANT actual specs. What I really need is published specs to go to before PHRF. To emphasize your point, when I said I had a 33' I, I was talking published specs. In fact I have a 33' 1" I. <s> Many thanks for pointing this out! Rodger

PHRF rating

Rodger: I too am in the process of submitting a PHRF application to get a rating. Do you know what the ISP is on our Vision 32s? janet

No, I'm not much help Janet...

I'm sorry to say that I don't know what the term "ISP" means, except in the internet sense (that is, "internet services provider" and I'm pretty sure thqt's not what you're talking about <s>). Would you please explain? Rodger
