What is the draft of a Cal 27-Mark III

Gentlemen, I hope you can help. I am currently looking at purchasing a Cal 27 MarkIII or a Catalina 27. I am leaning toward the Cal, even though it is more $$$$. My concern is the depth of the draft. I keep my current boat in a marina that is a small river/big creek. Sailboats with 4 foot drafts do OK, but everyone says they would not go any deeper. Catalinas list the draft at 4 foot, so the Catalina 27 should do OK. I've seen both 4 ft. and 5 ft listed for the Cal 27-III. Did the Cal offer two different keel configurations? Does anyone know the true draft spec for the Cal 27-III truly is?

Cal 27 Mark III

By Mark III, I assume you mean the Cal 27? (That would be the 1983 model and newer?) If so, the fin keel draws 5-1/2 feet, while the shoal keel draws 4-1/2 feet. I might be off by 6 inches, but if memory serves correctly, these are the correct figures.
