What is this chain for over the table in my new Cat30? I hope it's not to hang myself for buying this thing.

Thank you , thank you. I didn't get a lantern with the boat but looks like it could be nice addition . Well back to cleaning.

A nice oil lamp is one of the best additions to a sailboat. A nice dinner and cocktails by lamplight is one of the most relaxing things we do! Worth the money!

We love our lamp too, use it all the time. Plus its mounted on the bulkhead below a hatch so we always have that open when we have it burning plus we have a smoke bell which is great. We often use it as our only light. Love the look of the warm lamp glow against all the wood inside our 88.
