How about an antenna mast that mounts to the stern rail?

Look around on the boat or mast for possible mounting hardware.... it could be struts for stabilizing the mast when raising or lowering. Btw, have you thought about how you're going to raise the mast? Where the rigging goes, how you'll tilt it up, etc. You'll get to a point where you'll go "aha, that's what those poles are for!" Good luck.
Mast is up..... I raised it by hand by pointing bow down hill and walking it up. Still not sure. It's one of those "these seem special" kinda things, so I will save them.

downhill, it's easier to get the weight over center and it holds it's self (the mast) forward while you connect the forestay

The three telescoping poles remind me of the spreading ribs we have for our cockpit awning. They slip into pockets in the awning and telescope out to spread the awning out as much as possible. The awning edges are then tied to the ribs at both ends, and another line goes down to the toerails on both sides to hold the awning flat. The poles come apart so you can fold the awning and stow the poles more easily. A halyard holds the whole rig up. Sorry I don't have a picture.
