Hello Geroge, Thanks for your letter. I’m not totally sure what you mean by the “propeller is out 0.5”? Anytime you upgrade to a three blade from a two you will see an increase of apx. 30% efficiency. This increase will allow the vessel to maintain its speed when confronted with heavy winds or seas. The three blade is also quieter when in use. If you are speaking of an increase of 0.5 in pitch, most any propeller shop can perform this with adjustment at minimal cost.
