What insurance is wise for a Hunter 170 in NJ on the Bay?

New to boating. I called my insurance agent about insurance and he quoted about $145.
I have lost the email with the details. It had some liability coverage, damage to other boats and damage to my boat, trailering insurance, towing the trailer insurance and I think one or two other things. Foremost I believe is the quoting company.

What do I need for insurance?

I will be towing the boat to put it in the water each time.

Liability... YES! Your boat...? depends upon what you paid for it.

Towing? See what your auto insurer says. You might already be covered there.

BoatUS has a boat tow package to cover tow cost of being stranded on the water and on the road for boat and trailer.

Liability is not only your damage to another boat but if you spill oil in the water requiring EPA cleanup. Boy the Valdez really screwed the boat world up.

$145 for peace of mind is reasonable. Oil spill should not be a factor here. Former dealer and ins and adjuster
