What holds the table up?

My wife and I have been "rescuing" a neglected 1984 Hunter 27. Eveything is solid and sound, just left closed up on land for over 4 years. Question.....What holds the foding table in the upright folded position. It currently has 2 brass hooks and a bungee cord stretched across holding it up in the closed position. Is that original? There appears to be a filled in hole in the bulkhead centered above the folded table that might have had something attached to it at some time. Thoughts? Pictures of what should be there would be most appreciated. Thanks for your help. Absolutely love the boat!!!

The brown bungee cord came with our H27 and so far so good does a good job of securing the table. The position of the lamp does require that I swing it out of the way when lowering or raising the table.

Hey Jim! Nice bulkheads!! New boats don't look nearly that good.
