Hola Eduardo, soy Tim, de Cabo Marina

Eduardo, some, but not all, US insurance carriers insist that boats be north of a specific latitude for hurricane season. We deal with that down here in Cabo, too. Other boaters simply feel a little safer from hurricanes when they are further north. So, they take their, boats back to the US (where they can use them during the summer), or perhaps up to Puerto Escondido or San Carlos, Sonora. Many more boats have stayed in La Paz recently than before, ever since Marina Palmira opened the bodega seca. Marina San Carlos and Marina Real also have dry storage which is competition for you. However there are also insurance companies that will cover boats in La Paz, or here in Cabo or Mazatlan. By the way, I am the dockmaster here at Cabo Marina, so give me a call at the office, (112) 31251, if you want to talk more about it. Hablo espanol! Tim
