I once suggested to Hunter that they consider a limited-production light one-design race-oriented model. My thought is that it would add some branding assets by having a competitive boat out there that will do well on a boat-for-boat basis on a course and on handicap. The FIRST series of boats might be a good model. I do think there is a limited market for such a thing, so it may not be worth their time. But, with Henderson on the design team, it seems like a natural. I think it should be fractional B&R rigged, extendable bowsprit, a cloud of sail and a large but light and simple interior. Maybe 32-34' overall. They could perhaps farm it out to one of their other builders among the Luhrs line. Do you think it's worth their distraction? If so, mention it at shows, etc. Rick D.
