I have a Catalina 27 Tallrig with a Universal 18 . I'm looking to re-prop her this haul out . She presently has a 2 blade prop , I want to re-prop with a 3 blade setup . What do I look for ? I hope to maintain a decent cruising speed , and get more control while docking the boat . Any suggestions on the pitch and the diameter of the prop ?

!3" x 9" three blade

Hello Bob, The recommended three blade is a 13” diameter by 9” pitch. I cannot however confirm the rotation, you will need to look at the current propeller for that. Hope this helps. Kevin
