What do I do, what do I do?

Santa brought me new genoa sheets last year. The others remain in good shape. I try to avoid overdoing Santa's wish list. He has been very good to me as I have been very good, too.

If you look at the cost of a new sheave, it is less expensive than buying a new block. You could drill out the end of the pin that is riveted on collapsing the flanges once it is drilled and remove it. I would purchase a stainless steel bolt and replace it with a new sheave. Make sure the bolt is not completely threaded as you would not want any of the threaded portion inside the block housing but you may have some depending on the bolt you get. I use to cut the long bolt ends off afterwards and filing the ends down. It is cheaper to purchase a sheave vs. a new block. I would use that as a backup in the event a primary block should fail while sailing.
