type of keel

I know this is not an answer to your question but just because I am curious, what type of keel do you have. I have a H 33 with the 4' keel and I have not yet applied for a PHRF rating. I was wondering what it's rating would be.

PRHF Rating for racing

I have a fin keel on my 1980 Hunter 33 and in my club I am given 193 using a 150 genoa with cover on a roller furler, a new feathering 2 blade prop, and I do keep in the water at all times. Each club and area you may race in uses its own set of weights to rate your PRHF so if you are looking for a rating you must contact the club you plan to race in for that rating. To enable every boat to race equally our club goes into depth to handicap each when they have racing gear so it makes the crew more responsible for good racing results rather than the gear. It is just a great way to learn more about good seamanship and boat handling techniques and a great way to enjoy sailing and sailors. Good sailing, Steve
