New to sailboats so hopefully someone can tell me what these are. They are threaded and dont go all the way through. Maybe about an inch in. Something definitley screwed into them, but what??
What are these threaded metal inserts in the side of my boat?

They look like the kind of rivet nuts that are designed for plastics and composites. I've never seen ones with flats on them like that, though.
I don't know but I don't think they are OEM. That gu,y the PO, prolly installed them judging by the sloppy sealant work.
Fittings for beaching legs maybe?
