I am considering buying a small trailerable oat to cruise Puget Sound and the San Juans. I looked at a West Wight Potter but I'd like a keel. Would the Catalina 18 be a good boat for cruising Puget Sound and the San Juans? RH

Reviews look good!

Hi RH - There are 15 owner reviews of the Catalina Capri 18 in the Boat Info section on this site (see Related link below). I haven't sailed this particular model, but it sure seems like folks have good things to say about them! Good luck! Trevor

We sure like ours...

We were downsizing, and looked at everything in the general size range. Been very happy with our choice. We overnight often, and have done a couple of longer trips. So far our travels have taken us south (Florida panhandle, Texas coast) and the C-18 has handled everything I feel like being out in. We are considering a trip to the San Juan's this summer. Fire away with any specific questions - glad to respond.
