I want to buy a manual bilge pump for my oday 25. Has anyone tried out the new smartbail pump by whale??? There are two different models, one with a 1'' hose port and the other with 1.5'' . Which one do you think would suit my boat better??Any positive or negative reviews of this product?Any other manual bilge pumps that one would recommend??I want something simple and cheap.

Check out the Guzzler manual bilge pumps. They're cheaper than the Whale and work just as well. I mounted one in my 222 years ago. I have it so I can operate it from the cockpit with a detachable handle. The exhaust hose on my pump goes out the transom in between my swim ladder. I've never had to use this pump. The Guzzler is still being manufactured in East Providence RI under new management. It's an excellent pump for the money. I think I bought it at West Marine years ago, I'm not sure.
