Hi All - I once recall seeing a product on the market that automaticaly maintained the proper water level in wet-cell batteries. A device replaced the caps on your 12v batteries and had a water-tube that led to a resevoir tank. It somehow regulated the amount of water that dripped into each battery cell to maintain the proper level. I can't seem to find it anywhere...was I perhaps dreaming? Thanks - Rob

Nope,

But I think it probably died the death of demand, as in lack-of. I thought it was pretty silly. And the cost was close to the battery itself. Besides, to equalize you still have to test the battery. Silly. If you don't like playing with batteries, get an AGM or Gel.

I agree with Fred, but You might look

on the web for golf cart supplies. I remember seeing it when I was looking to buy my cart, and accesories. I just don't remember which supply house had it.

Do you mean HYDROCAPS?

They do work allthough they are pricey. I think a set of 12 go for about 100 bucks. Like Fred said they are almost the price of the batteries. I have been using them for over 5 years and have not added water to my batteries to date. You do have to take the caps off when you equalise the batteries. Watering your Battery

Rob: "Camping World", a RV parts distributer offers a battery watering system for both 6 and 12 volt batteries. Looks useful if your batteries are hard to reach. On net, search CampingWorld.com
