My WM complaint
I'm a first year sailor/sailboat owner and hvae my own West Marine praise and complaints. I really like & appreciate the WM staff in Houston and Portland, Maine and they've taught me lots. But my complaint is that WM always has ONE of everything and seldom 2 or more. Great if all you need is 1 item. Of course their prices seem ridiculous, but their quality seems good. My point is it would be nice to purchase lower priced "stuff" for sailors like me who are not circumnavigating the globe but just wanting to learn sailing and enjoy a nice afternoon sail with the family. Although I like WM (big kid in a toy store mentality?) that could just be a newcomer's opinion, but I always buy sailboat hardware in this order:1 - Home Depot2 - Boaters' Resale Shop3 - Internet4 - DIY 5 - West MarineKevins/v Edelweiss
