I own a 1980 Catalina 30. She stills has the original CNG bottles and it works great. No the challenge is to find where do I get the empty bottle filled or replaced? I live near New Orleans.

I would appreciate the help!

My best source

I get mine filled at a welding supply house, but it is 3 hours from here. I bought a second tank and on the 2 I can go more than one summer, and we use our stove and oven alot. I can get it at a local marina but they want seventy five bucks for an exchange, at the welding store it is fifteen dollars to fill or exchange, the marina says it it transport fees, yeah right!!
I considered converting to propane but that will be hundreds for a locker and all the pieces. Besides CNG is safer. You can ck the archives, this subject has come up before.

thanks for the links and advice. I will check around and compare prices. There is a location in New Orleans. I have 2 bottles and have enjoyed the simple gas stove. It works great and don't want to change it.

I will give you guys an update when I come up with a final solution.

thanks,

Albert
