I sail a Oday 20 with small Gibb wenches. There seem to be a lot of play up and down on them. Should i attemp to take them apart and greese them or should I leave well enough alone

Here's a link to a Tanzer 22 Owner's Manual that recommends against greasing Gibb winches.
