Warning -- West Marine is a little clueless
I ordered an AccuGate from West Marine catalog. They first e-mailed me that the product was back ordered and would be 6-8 *weeks* before it would be available. Then I got a package, which was obviously a return of an old gauge (wires crimped, tape around stuff, the glue pot was hard as a rock). After I calmed down (after all, I paid full price for a new product, not a bargain basement return), I called the catalog number and complained. They sent me a prepaid shipping label for an RMA. (I get a refund, but I still won't get a new gauge because they don't have any.) I just called Snake River and got the details: GaugeTronics was a distributor of the Snake River product. Apparently SR dropped GT and since GT supplied West Marine, that supply line is now somewhat confused. Snake River will sell direct but only check or C.O.D. (no credit cards). They will also sell units with fewer sensors at a lower cost, and you can buy new sensors to replace old ones, or add a new tank.
