Welt Cord???

I have a '78 Catalina 27 and I am replacing/refinishing some bulkheads and galley counter top. I noticed a "welt" edging that came from the factory around the contact area to the fiberglass.

Anyone know where this welt can be bought or if there is an alternative?

The extruded vinyl welt that attaches to back of a panel to fill the small gap is also used in auto upholstery and camper/RV's, if That's the stuff you need. Should be available at RV or upholstery supply.
