Went in yesterday with the help of some great friends.
It went well, my old outboard working, no water inside and really nice weather!
I just have to clean a bit on the inside & I'm ready to go!
I had a few projects that I wanted to do but never got the time.
I did however, paint the bottom and it came out great.
Here's to another safe boating season!

Thats good to hear Kevin. I hope to be in soon; sadly with the great winter we had, the wife found too many other things for me to do:cussing: instead of working on the boat so I am still prepping her for the season. Did you keep your same slip? I'll have to stop by this weekend!:dance:

The best of luck Kevin! My boat has been in the water for about three weeks now and I had to wait almost two weeks for my outboard to be fixed before I could use it.
Last week was the first time I had, to go out on a couple of overnighters on the river.
I lost a large Striped Bass while trolling under sail last Saturday but that's the way it goes. Maybe my fishing luck will change soon.

I'm year round in the water--just ask the barnacle colonies I support, they think it's great! Waiting on recovery from elbow surgery so no sailing yet.

Y'all have fun in the water!

Congratulations!

We have been in since Easter- went on a beautiful little, two hour sail this morning with the Admiral. We watch the kids get on the school bus and high tail it down to the marina. In a half hour, we're heading out of the dock.

Life is good.

Like a fool I bought a little boat that took me away from finishing my girl. I should have the little boat in the water this weekend for a trial. Did the bottom this past weekend.

Sounds like every one is doing pretty well so far. (with th exception of the elbow!)
I appreciate all the help I've received over the past few years.
