I bought the Hunter 27' (1982) I previously wrote about. Thank you all for your replies.I am now wondering if anyone has information or pictures on rigging gear, mainsheet, boomvang, whatever the boat came stocked with. Hunter Marine wasn't very helpful with supplying an older owners manual or info.

Congratulations!

I have the original "owner's manual" that came with the boat and, believe me, it isn't much. Many 27' are rigged differently from one another as well. Just ask any questions, that's why this forum is here!

Pictures of H27 are at:

There is a spec sheet there and some owner modification pictures. This is thanks to Carl Woods, a fellow Cherubini owner(H37C). And remember the Cherubini forum here at HOW. It is a Cherubini after all. Enjoy!!

Welcome to the club

Congratulations! I know you'll love your "new" 27, ours has been the answer to our . . . well, "prayers" is too lofty. Anyway, the Cherubini 27's are great cruising vessels, very forgiving and although plagued by a few little barbs like weather helm if not tuned properly, I can truly say that although I've had bigger boats, our 27 is without a doubt, the best so far. But remember, any of the older boats have a few grey hairs. Keep on top of your maintenance and sail her alot, and she'll do you well. Again, congratulations! Enjoy.
