I recently purchased a used 25' Hunter setting on a cradle in Milwaukee. I need to ship it to Madison, WI. There are some logistics problems moving it out of its present location and getting on a trailer to transport. My question concerns the weight of a 25' Hunter. The specs page says its displacement is 4400lbs and ballast is 1800 lbs. What is the total weight of ther boat for moving and shipping purposes? Am I to assume it weighs 4400 lbs?
