I had one of those for a while. It was noisy as hell and it got hot but it worked okay. I used it on my 8' dingy and it was 2.5 HP. They are air cooled and don't have many working parts.

It is a cheap outboard and it is light. It will work for a while.

Looks pretty "hillbilly" to me. My weed whacker is loud, and spews some blue smoke. I don't think the clutch on the newer ones would be great for trying to get moving in a hurry.

I am sure my slip mates would not appreciate it.

I think you would be happier in the long run with a small Lehr that runs on propane.

I use to drain all the oils, gas, etc. and gave them a bath before sending them out to Vahalla just like the Vikings
