Has any 456 owner installed the Weaver Industries davits on their boat? If so what feedback do you have and which model/item number did you instal?

I just read a great blog http://roadslesstraveled.us/sailboat-solar where they incorporated both the dinghy davits and solar panel rack in one convenient package. It looked great on their 44DS. Best part is you can really get the dinghy higher up than normal davits. I have a 326 and am looking at duplication a smaller version as one of my projects.

We are very pleased with our Ocean Marine Systems davits,

they work with Hunter Marine so they are engineered to fit properly.
They do make transom mounted davit systems, you might contact them about your boat model.
