Weather/Lee Cloths

I have noticed a number of you out there have your boats fitted with
weather cloths and was wondering where you found them, had them made or
how you made them yourselves? I hope to fit our new boat out with them
this spring.

We just signed the yacht acceptance papers and now it is just a matter
of writing the check and we will officially be Vegatarians. Thanks for
your input and suggestions!

Hi Chris

Well done. Diana, our Secretary Vega Club, makes them out of teh same
stuff as teh sprayhoods (USA Dodgers). Easy enough to make but must be
very strong.

Hi Steve!

Any idea about patterns and how one attaches them to
the lifelines? I think I could probably do it, but I
have no pattern or any idea if one creates a sleeve to
send the lifelines through, or grommets that would
enable me to tie the cloth directly to the lines? I
don't have any pictures of how others have done this,
so I can only guess.

Looking forward to the closing and then I can
officially change my email address...drop the Sabre
and add the Vega!
