Trying to comfortably extend sailing to mid December in the Chesapeake. Has anyone made and installed weather cloths on a h31. Trying to figure out how to: 1. Lead Dock lines to stern cleats without interference 2. Lead Asymmetrical Spinnaker sheets without interference 3. Attach cloths to toe rail between stern pulpit and first aft stanchion and still allow rapid release when opening pelican hooks on life lines for boarding Any insights appreciated Bill Ebling Yesterday’s Dream 1985 H31' Kent Island, MD

Have 'em for our H30

My wife made a set to go on our Hunter 30. They extend from two stanchions in front of the stern pulpit to the leading edge of the pulpit. We attach them to the lifelines and to the stanchions instead of to the toerail. That way we can still run lines underneath, and unhook the lifeline gates. She made them from treated canvas from the local fabric shop. We use elastic cord and small line to secure them in place, and just put them on when we need them. They install in just a few minutes. On those cold, drizzly, windy days, they are great. Good luck.
