Heat wave predicted for this weekend for New England. Temperatures in excess of 85-90 degrees in the interior, slightly cooler coast with winds sw 10-15 knots. I suggest if you are at work to leave immediately for your sailboats, if you can't make it out to sea at least fill the cooler with drinks/ice and open the hatch. Good luck my friends.

Or you could...

Relocate to Florida. That happens just about EVERYDAY here. Well except the wind comes from the east. Sorry William couldn't refuse. Bob Always Something

Conference call ends at 2:30

The cooler is already set. At 2:31 the diesel will crank and at 2:36 the lines will be loose. Sailing this afternoon with my daughters and watching fireworks tomorrow night in Niantic Bay with my son. (My wife gets seasick.) Looking forward to a great weekend on the boat. Have a great one and a cold one!

I'm outta here . . .

Leaving at 1:30pm for the Boothbay, ME and "Quality Time" my H28. Planning on grilling out and spending the night on the hook somewhere in the Sheepscot River. It's going to be a GREAT weekend!

Heat Wave????

Heat wave...hell, I used to live in Phoenix, and in the summer it never got below 95 at night! Lately in SoCal its been about 85-95, just right for my old bones. Enjoy the Global warming...its been around for some time.

Air Conditioning Overload ...

Our office building is sure to have a power failure this afternoon due to the power demands ... I think I will evacuate immediately and find safe refuge on a cool lake ... Enjoy! :)

Almost sailing..

Not quite sailing, but I will be working on my boat on Saturday, doing an electrical panel upgrade. This of course will involve cold beer, and battery switch in OFF position! I'll get my water fix kayaking off Ipswich on Sunday. And of course, somewhere in there will be a visit to WM!

Yippie!!! it's about time after this spring/

early summer. It doesn't sound like much wind for our area this weekend (great today of course and I can't get out 'till tomorrow) but the mooring is great too. I do hope I can can get a sail in though. I'll be there Saturday am through Sunday afternoon. Mmmmmmmmm....

In two hours...

..."SUNSHINE DAYDREAM" hits the water for the first time this year. New name, new paint. I little delayed (weather and shattered heel), but time to go enjoy.
