I recently had our local Raymarine rep send my radar head back to the east coast. It was getting condensation in the RL70. I asked that they transfer my waypoints from the old to the new unit. This wasn't done. So, we tried to transfer them from my chartplotter (model 300) and the Seatalk feature was missing from the softkeys. It only had the NMEA. Please let me know how I can make the transfer by somehow adding the Seatalk ability. Seatalk is used by all of my other Ratheon instruments. Thanks, John Richard s/v Jack's Place

Route Transfer.

The waypoints can be transferred between your RN300 and RL70 units. This is accomplished by building all of the waypoints into a single route. You then activate the route on the display with the waypoints stored on it, and save the active route on the destination navigator. I hope this answers your questions. Raymarine has a technician that can walk you through the procedure at 800 539 5539, Mon-Fri 0400-1730.
