Hi Jim I just ordered one of your kits and was wondering if West marine liquid boat wax with Teflon is compatible with your products. I have used it for years with good results and I already have two bottles for this years waxing. Hayden Watson Papillon C30 tr/bs Spokane, WA

Teflon Wax

Of the liquid waxes, West Marine liquid wax (a private label version of another) is very good. I have heard that people have used it sucessfully over sea glow but it will newver beat a good paste wax. If you do use it over SEA GLOWQ or CLEAR I wqould suggest first sealing the surface with SILKENSEAL. Otherwise the pet distillates in the liquid wax will remove some of the conditioner of our cleaner/conditioners. Incidentally I have experimentedextensively with teflons as a wax additive and see little benefit and a dulling of the shine on dark surfaces (the teflon powders are like white flour in consistency). Hope this is of some help. Thanks Jim Willis
