I recently bought a '88 28.5 and it has not been waxed in probably 3-4 yrs, I tried 3M Wax and Restore but it has a beige tint to it that my boat picked up and wont let go. The other question is that the bimini structure is aluminum not steel, is this as critical as the canvas people tell me, or is aluminum ok.
