Wave noise-End slip

I have 260 and on end slip that gets some wave action from rear, and makes it sometimes hard to get to sleep in rear birth. Any solutions appreciated besides enough bourbon or scotch. Thanks

I've heard to tie a fender or three horizontally at the waterline, or just call it a lullaby. Do a forum search for "wave slap/slapping".

Also heard there was a commercially available product...

You could dock facing into the waves. (And peach or peppermint schnapps work for me.)

Nthe noodle trick works well. Snug it up tight to the transom right where the waves hit and you'll instantly notice the difference.

And of course more rum always helps.

I don't know if that could be also an issue in your case, will it just mention. Make sure the rudder is lifted out of the water.
After I did that, my nights in the boat were much quieter.
