I am looking to buy and install a watermaker. The watermaker that I am currently looking at is an Italian made Schenker Smart 60ltr per min. Has anyone fitted a watermaker to a Beneteau 411 and if so what make did you fit and where was it fitted. Any pictures would be a great help.

I cleared the house battery from the tray in front of the engine with the intent to place a water maker there. I have 120 VAC from a genset, so that will be the power source. I doubt you are looking at a 60 ltr. / min unit. Perhaps that is /hr.
Thanks Gunni Sorry my mistake its 60ltr per hr. I was hoping that someone with a 411 has already fitted a watermaker and could advise where they fitted it. I had already measured the space where the engine battery is and its not a big enough space and I was also concerned it would restrict entry into the engine compartment.
Thanks again Gunni, thats a good idea. Schenker do offer a modular watermaker as well so I will look into this and get all the diamentions etc.
