The previous owner painted the entire hull (above and below the original waterline) with the same paint. The paint held beautifully above the water, but all the paint under the water blistered. Probably the wrong paint was used. The blistering came up over the original waterline, maybe because the previous owner had built some wooden flooring that is quite heavy so the boat sits deeper than the original waterline. Now that I'm sanding off the blisters, I'm considering changing the waterline to include the blistered area, thus compensating for the extra weight of the flooring, so I don't get blistering again. It did, however, occur to me that the waterline that I inherited was not the original. That's why I'm looking to see if anyone has the specs for the original. Thanks for your response.
