waterline for bottom paint

Not sure there is enough bottom paint remaining to determine its location all around the boat . Whats the best way to determine where the waterline is sitting on a trailer ? I thought I saw something in the owners manual but could not make it out or even sure what it was .

About the only way is to refloat the boat with water in the ballast tank and then mark the water line. I would leave the boat in if at all possible for a day to really determine the water line by the scum mark left on the hull. You will want to paint about 1-2 inches above the water line particularly for anyone going into salt water to avoid barnicles on the hull.
