Dave, Don't worry you are not the only one. The float switch on the 336 is on top of the water tank located under the v-berth. If I remember correctly, on my 336 the acces hatch either screwed off or was held in place by 5 or six screws. Chances are the float has become water logged and can be replaced with a standard Tempo sending unit. I hope this helps. Paul Bednarzyk S/V Knot Again H380
