I bought a 1996 H26 at the beginning of the season and am just gaining familiarity with some of her uniqeness. My first perplexing problem encountered is that after about week's absence I acquire about a cup of water which eventually seeps out onto the floor from under the teak floor boards as we walk around the salon. Now, that might not be such a big deal if I could go to a lower part of the bilge and pump or sponge it out occasionally, but I cannot find any place that is actually lower. In fact, my bilge pump appears to be mounted higher and is an aft bilge area that doesn't even seem to be connected to the part underneath the floor.I suspect my area of concern may be where the ballast water is stored as I can hear some water movement when bouncing up and down on the floor (how is the ballast water actually contained). Additionally, the water appears brown-stained as though it might be leaching some color from the teak while its sitting there, our lake is crystal clear, and I do seem to suffer a bit from a common poor-sealing main hatch, but not sure where to go from here? I'll continue to poke around on this but thought someone may already have experienced a similar phenomena and could shed some light on it for me...thx!
