Noticed on my last 2 outings that my engine temperature gauge needle was stick at 160F, (lowest on the scale is 140F) when the engine was cold, then when the enigne runs it goes up to 180F.
In the past temperature engine gauge rarely went up past 160F when running.
Should I be only concerned with the changing the gauge or should I also be concerned with engine temperature sensor also?
Engine runs fine and plenty of water running through the system, I am mainly concerned about gauge and/or sensor.
The boat is a C30TRBS, 1987 with M25 engine.
Thanks for you help.
