I have a '78 Hunter 25 which has a leaking water tank and it appears to be impervious to inspection. I suspect leak is at filler connection but can't seem to get to it. Any advice. Love the boat.

Your tank is almost certain to be aluminum and

20 years is about its natural lifespan. I wouldn't even consider trying to repair it...I'd replace it.

Some help maby

Me too, 78' H25 w/ leaking water tank. My boat has a bladder tank under the cockpit, you can see it if you remove the end cover on the port aft berth(3 phillips screws on mine), you can then crawl on your belly aft and down to the bilge with a flash light and you can see the tank. I plan to cut a access hole in the aft wall enclosing the tank, then glss it back up. Hope this helps some and would love to share info and projects I am doing to my boat. kparker944@earthlink.net
